How To Hide Ugly Pipes

Travel Notes 1 - Akihabara

Heck, I have to pack it to hurt me looking at the network (and anywhere it can find it) .. I hope that the material on Tokyo continually read news and blogs, and view photos of the streets where I have now set foot three months ago, 13 to 21 May 2007, to serve relieve a little nostalgia, and instead causes the opposite effect (but go ????) I really left a piece of my heart there, I found it perfectly at ease despite the cultural and social differences (the only time my husband and we thought "what are we doing here?" was in Kyoto, as we walked into a typical suburb TERRIBLE when we were by chance during one of our endless wanderings, where the West does not was nothing and the few people around, especially older ones, watching us curiously. Kyoto is beautiful but it's really characteristic, sometimes there seemed to be finished on another planet.) Okay, to sentimentalism notice and begin to say something about this memorable vacation.

DIARY BOARD Part 1: AKIHABARA
----- Intanetto Point ?-----

Upon arriving in Tokyo, my husband and we started shooting, map in hand, to find Akihabara, the famous game , electronics and fumetti.Il my paradise really! ♥ Turn that turns you in the end we found (there we made the walk because I still had to figure out how to take the metro ... at first seems very difficult, but once the mechanism becomes a little game geared to kids and then you really MUST to move to a place like that but since there *_____*) now arrived in the evening We have not started looking for shops that interested us (though they are still open, Tokyo is truly a city that never sleeps) and we decided to go on ahead a little because we would come back the next day with the sunlight . We were in search of an Internet point in the afternoon and we thought it logical for excellence in the electronics district there should be hoards ... searched and searched, finally we see a building with a thousand signs, one of which bore written in katakana fluorescent and intermittent "Intanetto Point." Bingo! I must say, in hindsight, that the building was rather Loffi, allocated in a dimly lit street and out of reach, but at the moment we have not noticed and we have entered. Besides, what would you have an Internet Point is not a harmless if Internet Point? Armed with this unassailable logic, we asked the guy behind the counter to use the Internet. In the meantime I looked around and noticed that it was a little strange as local, with shelves of comics and hentai dvd rental, but not even a customer. The guy made us fill out a form after having repeatedly called "the Internet?" Internet? "Would almost certainly undermine the genuinely to desire, as if to ask" but you sure? "While continuing to exchange glances with his fun collega.Un little perplexed we followed his instructions and we went up the elevator to reach the upper floor, where there were rooms with computer.Neanche time to ask where the hell we were finished the elevator doors open onto a long corridor, narrow and rather dark, lit only by few soft lights, which hovered STRANGE a bad smell, full of little doors on the sides, which gave up the kind of private room (you spell that? are lousy in French) in which you could use the pc.Cominciamo to walk down the hall looking around to find the number the room we had been assigned and I see one about to open one eye 3/4..incautamente throw in, almost without thinking, and for a split second I see that there 's a guy inside with your hand in the jewels family in an unequivocal attitude! I immediately looked away (I have not had time to see anything, fortunately) and we finally realized what kind of post-Internet fosse.Un Sega ! I heard about it, but I did not think that really exist! A place where you can go to spippettarti happily watching porno movies and photos from Internet. This people is light years ahead ... SPQJ , S ono Azzi P Q Standard grease J apponesi, one of my top favorites. In short, we finally found the number of our closet, and even though we were so disgusted that we wanted to run away now, we boldly entered and we have used the service for which we pagato. All 'were inside a PC and a comfortable leather chair, but there was no doubt that I sat up there! > _ \u0026lt;I just had to send a couple of short emails, but I dared not even touch the keyboard to write ... pigiavo the keys with a pencil! Even if we could be there a quarter of an hour, having previously (and naively ^ ^; ) paid for that time, after just five minutes we were already out, where we laughed thinking back to the faces of the clerks who will have fun without a laugh behind two inexperienced poor gaijin like us ... XD
Moral of the story? C 'was an Internet Point (normal) in our hotel where there was ... practically everything from souvenirs, restaurants, bars, parcel delivery service, etc. etc.. Only that we had not had time to explore it with quiet, having just arrived and now since there slingshots to throw us out in the middle of the life of Tokyo ...*_______*

** ** THE Toranoana

The legendary Toranoana, located in Akihabara, of course, is one of the largest stores of manga / anime / DVD / doujinshi / action figures of all Tokyo (probably the greatest.) counts fourteen storeys, divided into two buildings side by side, seven uno.All 'you can not take pictures inside, so these were taken on the sly ^ ^; The first time we have spent about 7 hours , we entered in the afternoon and we left it was late evening, without being noticed that the time had passed so quickly and without having finished visit. Which is why we have returned many times and, needless to say, we literally bought up the doujinshi: D Here is a picture of
' external (what you see below is my husband who is resting exhausted after a day's journey XD and shopping) and the 'internal in some of the floors dedicated to doujinshi and action figures . As the
Toranoana really huge, it was not strange that in it there is also a coffee truly unique, which unfortunately we can not take more pictures. The waitresses wore white uniforms and black pretty, complete with tiara with cat ears and tail sticking out from under her skirt. No coincidence that the restaurant's name is "With Cat" (and in fact the girls were dressed like this), but, depending on how you read it (see photos to believe it) can also be interpreted "Witch Cat" or "witch cat", symbolizing that cats could really be transformed into human thanks to the magic. Imaginative, not to mention the real ?^__^ Gatteschi coaxing girls to take orders, and closed his eyes twinkled as kittens and basket style nest to support scholarships at the foot of the table. We loved that place ... here is the official website the room! Check it out!

Also in Akihabara was not difficult to meet in the street
girls dressed in the uniforms of the premises that they worked for distributing leaflets almost always accompanied by a package of handkerchiefs . Oh, yes, even advertising in Japan is useful to the next: the tissues are always handy! In fact we have done with all that stock they offered us during the holiday
XD I love this picture
Akihabara . I find that better fulfill the vitality di questo quartiere. Diamine, avete mai visto una singola via, relativamente piccola per giunta, con tutte quelle insegne??*___*Un caos. Ma un caos in cui è facile immergersi completamente e lasciarsi assorbire.

                                                                                                           ** ** THE SHOUSEN

The Shousen is another impressive library of Akihabara. Count eight huge maps where there is a little bit of everything
, for a change, from manga tourist guides from the sages dvd hentai. It 's the place where we bought a much more comprehensive and detailed plan of what we already have, that we saved his life on several occasions. And look a little here .... I had to take this picture to show it to my father, who is a fan of historical Lieutenant Colombo (which becomes more or less "Coronbo" in Japanese), which, apparently, is also famous in those parts
XD Also, here I finally found the Bleach artbook,
" All Colour But The Black " . I took the clerk the note on which I had written the name of what I was looking for (after several unsuccessful attempts to make myself understood in other shops where I had sought material on Bleach, I had finally dawned on me that I could write it in a shop ... where we had been before the clerk looked at us with bovine eyes to hear say "Bleach" in English, and only after several attempts had told us that the word seraphic da loro si legge Buriichi, e in qualsiasi altro modo non viene capita...sigh) e non potete immaginare la mia gioia quando, dopo aver esclamato diverse volte "Buriiiiichi" come se parlasse fra sè e sè, ha telefonato a quelli del piano di sopra per farselo mandare giù e poi me l'ha consegnato!!^o^

                                                                                                              ****** ******

Tokyo is very close to Western standards and is easy to integrate with the people, always so busy yet friendly and disponibile.Anche if most of the time did not understand a chip only about what we said, did their utmost to help out as best they could, even offering spontaneously when they saw us in trouble as we arrabattavamo between maps and pocket dictionaries in the middle of Akihabara.L 'English ... this stranger! in Japan understand about one person in four, that's not quite as bad as the media, but usually the language is very rough and with a Japanese accent marcatissimo that turns words like "hotel" in "hoteru", "park" in "Pakku" and so on, so unless they are pronounced exactly as they are not comprese.Immaginate then the problems we had at the beginning, but then once you understand how things work days are sadly emblematic fly ... what happened to us when you arrive at the airport of Frankfurt, on his way ritorno.Ci we lined up for passport control and when it reaches the Our turn the officer took them to do with lazy, I took a look to smear (probably without even reading anything really) and then we literally thrown in front of them, almost throwing, without saying a word except emit a kind of grunt, a sign that we could take back and proseguire.Bentornati in Europe! T_____T
Once accustomed to the return of Japanese courtesy sharply with the traditions and Western, and particularly the rude of some people, has caused a wave of revulsion that we were about to take flight on the next plane to Tokyo ... seriously, there are not NEVER been treated badly or carelessly once, even for sbaglio.Io if I could really go to live there permanently. ..
